These horse are very solid rubber shoes. have enough weight to throw "average distance", especially with children and young adults. they are not tournament, but shoes are not intended that anyway. they are perfect for camping or beach use. most campgrounds do not have horse shoe pits and prohibit the use of steel/iron sets due to thementer rubber horse divots created by fashion shoes. they are safe for indoor or outdoor, using pucks
